Third edition for The Conspirator

In 2006, Patricia left the capital behind and moved to the countryside. This is the setting for her second novel The Conspirator (De intrigant), which was published on the 31st of May 2011. Since January 2011, Patricia has lived and worked in Singapore, where she is writing her third novel.

Sold more then 15.000 copies!

2012 started well. Like The conspirator Blinded has a third edition. More then 15.000 copies were already sold. Blinded tells the story of a woman leading a double-life and the criminal world behind the Dutch cannabis-industry.

In the last edition of Sjak, the famous Dutch author Tommy Wieringa wrote about 'Urban and rural life' (Stad en Land), in december Patricia's column 'Power' (Kracht) was published.

The 1st of november Patricia was invited in the capital of Malaysia to give a lecture about authorship: how to create a story and how to bring characters to life.

Patricia obtains money for threatened Asian elephant

On 11 11 11, the Elephant
Parade, the largest and most colourful open air art event in the world, started in Singapore. The writer was in the process of finding sponsors for this two-month long exhibition. The 12th of january, all the works of art were auctioned at Sotheby’s. Elephant Parade raised 1,7 million Singapore dollar. For more information, go to www.elephantparade.com

Saturday, the 4th of June, Patricia signed copies of her book in Steenwijk. The beautiful weather made it possible to do this outside, and Patricia took plenty of time for long chats with her readers.

Sunny book presentation of The Conspirator

On Wednesday, the 1st of June in café Proust, the first copy of The Conspirator was presented to Patricia by publisher Linda Crombach. On the terrace, publisher Oscar van Gelderen, crime journalist Gerlof Leistra, writer Mark Schalekamp and many others enjoyed the wonderful weather and company.

Crime Trio performance at Uitmarkt a succes

On Saturday, the 28th of August 2010, three authors, detective Simon de Waal, entrepreneur Patricia Snel & crime journalist Gerlof Leistra, came together as Crime Trio once more. This time the discussion took place in the Literary Salon on the Museumplein in Amsterdam, and was moderated by journalist Linda Vosjan. They spoke about the crime industry from their different points of view, offering surprising and funny anecdotes, commenting on current events, their books, and all the while including their audience in the debate.

Blinded a great success on the 15th of May
